Case Study - Promotional Video Set

I first met Gillian Park through our local art club, where I filmed a demonstration video of her at work. After seeing the finished video, Gillian approached me to discuss creating a series of videos that would showcase her artistic process in a more engaging and professional way.
Although Gillian had previously created her own videos, they were mainly filmed in a selfie style. She wanted something that would allow viewers to see how she works as an artist while still feeling natural and authentic.
The project involved filming Gillian as she gathered inspiration from local plant life and transformed those observations into her distinctive artwork. The challenge was to create videos that felt “professionally unprofessional” – polished enough to reflect the quality of her work, yet informal enough to retain her personality and connect with her audience.
Finding the right balance took some experimentation, and after a couple of filming sessions we developed an approach that worked perfectly. The finished videos captured both Gillian’s creative process and the enthusiasm she brings to her work, giving viewers a genuine insight into how her art is created.
Gillian was delighted with the final results and was happy to recommend my services to others.

'Keith took the time to understand exactly what I wanted from the videos and worked hard to find the right balance between professionalism and authenticity.
The finished videos capture both my artistic process and personality in a way that feels natural and true to my work.
Throughout the project he was patient, flexible and easy to work with, and I was delighted with the final result.
Thank you'
